			<description><![CDATA[<img title="" alt="" src="http://www.pcwomensjournal.com/content_images/1/PCarboretum.jpg" align="Left" border="0" height="144" width="191"/><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Pitt County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will hold the 2012 Plant Sale on Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to noon (preview sale for Friends of the Arboretum, 9-10 a.m.). </span><br/><br/>There will be a plant swap at 11 a.m. All proceeds of the sale will go towards enhancing and expanding the arboretum. <br/><br/>The arboretum is located at 403 Government Circle, Greenville. 			<title><![CDATA[Summer Camp Volunteer Program]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-weight:bold;"><img title="" alt="" src="http://www.pcwomensjournal.com/content_images/1/volunteerteens.jpg" height="101" align="Left" border="0" width="144"/>The Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, a non-profit 501-C3 organization, seeks ambitious and dedicated youth ages 15 and older (younger than 15 with special permission) to assist with summer camps for children. </span><br/><br/>Volunteers will help Emerge Staff with a variety of tasks, such as setup and cleanup during children's summer camps as well as serving as assistants to instructors. Participants will receive an official letter documenting hours and service for use if their school or civic organizations require volunteer hours. 			<title><![CDATA[Event to Benefit Family in Need of Surgery for Infant]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="font-weight:bold;"><img title="" alt="" src="http://www.pcwomensjournal.com/content_images/1/BabyColt.jpg" height="134" align="Left" border="0" width="180"/>The Public Relations Student Society of America (ECU Chapter) will host an etiquette dinner at the East Carolina Heart Institute to help raise money for Baby Colt Moss and his family, Wednesday, April 18 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at The East Carolina Heart Institute. </span><br/><br/>Jillian&nbsp;Lundy, VP of Operations for ECU&#8217;s Chapter of PRSSA, states that Baby Colt is a young infant with a severe heart defect. To correct the functioning of his heart, he must undergo more multiple surgeries. Both of the parents are ECU alumni of the College of Business.<br/>&nbsp; <br/>PRSSA is collaborating with Carol Woodruff of the ECU Career Center and WZMB, ECU&#8217;s Radio Station. PRSSA members and non-members are invited to come and learn about proper business dinner etiquette while simultaneously raising money for this cause. Exhibit space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is free for non-profit/governmental organizations. For-profit businesses are required to submit a small exhibit fee. is collaborating with the School of Art and Design to examine Colony
 Collapse Disorder, the plight of the honeybee and the impact on the 
American agricultural system. <br/><div class="entry"><div><p>On <strong>March 20</strong>, <strong>guest speaker</strong> <span style="font-weight:bold;">Loretta McGrath</span>, a sustainability consultant and educator who practices
 <span style="font-weight:bold;">holistic beekeeping</span>, <span style="font-weight:bold;">will speak at the Greenville Museum of Art.</span> McGrath will discuss beekeeping, means of effecting 
positive social change, and sustainable agriculture.&nbsp;Immediately 
following, a <strong>panel discussion</strong> examines the global bee 
crisis and biodynamic beekeeping. <br/>

 The Healthy Living Expo provides an opportunity for visitors to
