Since my first article in PCWJ, I’ve been delighted by how many women and men have enjoyed the results of a pampering facelift massage. Many of you have had questions, so I’ve put some of them together here:

Is a facelift massage the same as a facial?

A facelift massage is not a “facial”.  It is a specialized technique administered by a licensed massage therapist. It is pampering and very relaxing. The massage in general stimulates circulation to give your skin a healthy glow and to detoxify your muscles. Energy flow and circulation are increased through the stimulation of acupressure points. Lymph drainage techniques are used to reduce puffiness around the eyes and jaws.

Do I have to have 12 treatments to see results?

No. Most of my clients see results from the first session. The results are cumulative, though. Bellanina recommends, for optimal results, twelve sessions (once or twice a week), then monthly maintenance. That being said, my facelift massage clients are a varied as my other massage clients. Some come for the full 12 treatments, some come to be pampered occasionally, and others receive a facelift massage before a special event.

I love the facelift massage. Can I receive it as part of my full body treatment?

Absolutely! I have packages to suit anyone’s needs. Some possible combinations are:

  • One hour facelift massage
  • 75 minutes including full body with a 30 minute facelift massage
  • 75 minutes including 20 minutes of back massage followed by 55 minutes of facelift massage
  • 30 minute facelift massage

So whatever your needs, we can work the facelift massage into your routine.

Do you recommend Bellanina products and can I purchase from you?

While there are many good products on the market, you can purchase the products I use during the facelift massage. If you are interested, just ask. Don’t expect a sales pitch, though. I respect that my clients come to my office for a massage. I use cosmeceutical-grade products which can be purchased through me or the Bellanina website.
