Hi Pitt County ladies!  If you’re reading this to find out all you can about planning a wedding, congratulations on your recent engagement or the engagement of a loved one!   If you are reading this out of curiosity, great!  Just keep on reading as you must love weddings as much as me.

Why do I need a planner?  What can they do that I can’t?
Overall, planning a wedding is not hard but with the many different appointments that are required, the negotiations with and selection of the vendors, establishing timelines and budgets all while trying to stay calm and rested so you can enjoy the big day, the planning can easily become overwhelming.  Add in learning everything that’s recommended to create the wedding of your dreams makes seeking outside help a huge benefit, not to mention great idea.  With 3+ years of assisting other grateful brides and their familes plus an additional 15 years of event planning on top of that, I am happy to do what I can to make this day beautiful and as stress free as possible for you.

How do I decide if a planner is a good idea for me?
While a planner is not always necessary, here is a little survey to help you decide if you might need help.  If you answer “yes” to more than one question, chances are good that a wedding coordinator would be a benefit to you as you plan for your special day.

1. Do you have a full-time job?
2. Does your mother and/or your maid/matron of honor have a full-time job?
3. Do you feel overwhelmed when dealing with multiple deadlines at once (caterer, florist, entertainment, etc.)?
4. Would it be great to have someone serve as a mediator between you, your fiancé, and your parents regarding possible issues of contention?
5. If you could snap your fingers and have your perfect, ideal dream wedding delivered to you, would you?
6. Does eloping sometimes sound like a good option to you and your fiancé?
7. Would an
extra set of hands be helpful on your wedding day?
8. Are you getting married?

Will hiring a planner blow my budget?
From a cost perspective, hiring a planner may be much more reasonable than you may imagine.  With services ranging from working side by side from engagement thru the reception to only assisting with a few vendors to being that extra set of hands on the special day, the packages is all based on what you need.  Don’t forget the cost saving tips that we can provide :)

A few common questions that we encounter on at every initial meeting:

If I use your service, does that mean I can only work with certain vendors?
Absolutely not! One of the benefits of working with our company is that we create a plan that works for you. If you know where you want the reception, the florist, and the DJ yet you need help with the rental equipment, the photographer, and the cake baker, we will be happy to both work with the vendors already selected as well as make recommendations for companies that can assist with the remainder of the needs. The good news: we will do the research for you before recommending anyone: are they available on your day, are they within your price range, and is what you need available.

Can you help by directing the ceremony?
Absolutely. When we meet together, simply let us know that the ceremony direction is something you will need and we'll make sure that is in the proposal prepared for you. This will include direction at the rehearsal as well as the ceremony itself.

OK – I admit I need help.  Now what?
