The Pirate Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association awarded two $5,000 Nina Belle Redditt Legacy Scholarships at their May 10, 2010 meeting at McAlister’s.  The winners were Morgan “ Brooke “ Renn and Karen Silinsky both are students at East Carolina University.  Brooke is a Nursing student and Karen is in the Arts program.

The Pirate Charter Chapter meets the second Monday of each month at McAlister’s at 6 PM. The mission of ABWA is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
