Currently, Rebekah teaches at Northeast elementary, located right off of Highway 11 in Kinston.  This is her seventh year of teaching, and she has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, as well as serving as committee and grade chairs.  Last year, she represented Teachers Memorial Elementary as their 2008-09 Teacher of the Year.  She is also currently a candidate for National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards certification.
In her free time, she enjoys surfing the web, reading, working out, and spending time with her boyfriend and his 12-year-old son.  Much of her family and friends live in the area, so she gets to spend a lot of time with loved ones.
