Judy Whaley-Morris has been a resident of Eastern North Carolina since she was an undergraduate Occupational Therapy student at East Carolina University from 1974-1978; except for the few years when she worked in Winston-Salem, NC.  She returned to Greenville in 1982 and soon completed her graduate course work at ECU in the School of Education in 1984.

In 1987, Judy founded Carolina Occupational Therapy of Greenville, Inc.  This is the first private practice outpatient Hand Therapy Clinic east of Raleigh.  She was the first Occupational Therapist in our area to complete the application and become a member of the American Society for Hand Therapists.  Judy is currently a charter member of the ASHT as she qualified for certification in 1991.

She is married to Johnnie Morris, who is a detective for the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.  On their small farm, in Hookerton, they have several “four-legged” children…four
dogs, five horses and a cat.  Both Johnnie and Judy enjoy fishing, boating, jet skiing and playing with their nieces.

Carolina Occupational Therapy is a small Hand Therapy private practice specializing in hand and upper extremity evaluations and rehabilitation for various upper limb dysfunctions.  At Carolina Occupational Therapy, patients receive professional competent care that specifically addresses their individual rehabilitation needs.
