Meet Greenville's Trudy Gulley

I was born on June 24th and adopted two days later by Raymond and France Carson Whitehurst.  This is how I became a resident of Bethel and Pitt County.  My education includes graduation from Bethel Elementary and High Schools, Peace College in Raleigh and East Carolina University with a degree in Sociology.

After several temporary jobs in banking and with the Pitt County Tax Assessors office, I began a career in Social Work with Wake and Edgecombe County Departments of Social Services.  As a social worker, I specialized in child welfare working with foster children and foster parents providing supervision to children in placement and the homes where they resided.  After 17 years, I decided to make a career change an became a REALTOR beginning my association with RE/MAX Preferred Realty.

I am the proud mother of a daughter, Frances Gulley Harris and 6 year old grandson William Ira Harris III of Raleigh.  When I’m not selling real estate, I am involved with community activities as past President of the Pitt County
Women’s Commission, a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, the LL Book  Club, and President of the Bethel Rotary Club.  Please contact me at 341-7101 for all of your Real Estate needs.
