The physicians of the CBCC have been serving the community for many years and have developed a unified working relationship as well as a reputation for consistent excellent patient care. We focus our skills on the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of breast diseases. The
center is the first of its kind here in eastern North Carolina and receives referrals from all of the surrounding counties.

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers is spearheaded by the American College of Surgeons and represents a consortium of national professional and academic organizations dedicated to the improvement of the quality of care and monitoring of outcomes of patients with diseases of the breast. Over 25 quality standards of the NAPBC have been set by leading organizations throughout the country. Accreditation is granted only to those centers that comply with these standards and have voluntarily committed to undergo a rigorous evaluation with direct on-site survey by the NAPBC.
